One Of Those Moments

There are some days when your thoughts are so clear that you can truly appreciate the special moments in life: the moments when you are honestly happy.
Last night, whilst trying to watch a movie but falling asleep, I watched my Godson, [who I was babysitting], push the cushion on my lap as if to prepare a soft place to lie, and I had one of those moments. And I thought how it was such a simple thing, and yet it was so wonderful. Just the beauty of his little body and his existence: how sweet he is and so innocent, such a simple life. And looking at him, just relaxing in the warm house curled up in blankets while there was a storm raging outside..... I was just so happy and so content.
Some days, it doesn't take much.
