Referral

I forgot to say yesterday that I received a letter from the hospital about my referral to the chest clinic.
I have to say I'm rather worried, purely because everyone knows how crap the NHS [National Health Service] is and how long waiting lists are, and then there's me who gets an appointment virtually straight away for the 15th December.
Either someone has pulled a few strings and got me seen quickly, [and if that's the case I'm extremely grateful], or there's something someone isn't telling me.....
I hope it's the first one.
