Cheated

There are no words that can describe how I'm feeling today..... I hope you enjoy this instead:
As I look into the mirror what do I see?
A person I never intended to be.
There is the hurt, there is the pain,
A dream to be better, alas in vain.
I wonder, can people see I've been defeated?,
Possibly; but they won't know that I feel cheated.
It's as though life is slowly passing me by,
And I have so much to do, before I die.....
I've got to find my laughter and my smiles,
They somehow got lost due to my lifes trials.
