I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.

I'm not very religious but earlier today, when reading the book I've been given for my therapy homework, I came across the passage quoted above and it struck a chord within me.
And now, just like when you hear a cheesy pop song on the radio [which annoyingly you then end up singing to yourself all day, despite not knowing the words and really disliking the song in the first place], I just can't get it out of my mind.
